At Wibble Foods Ltd, we are committed to operating in an ethical and socially responsible manner. We recognise the significant human rights risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking in the food industry, and are committed to combating these issues through our business practices. Our commitment to combating modern slavery is reflected in the following statement:

Our structure, business and supply chain: Wibble is registered as a private limited company providing dessert products to retail and foodservice and makes this statement on behalf of itself.  The overall risk of modern slavery in our supply chain remains low, since our procurement is undertaken through trading agreements, which have their own robust contract compliance and supplier management processes. 

Our Policies: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers and partners share our values and commitment to ethical business practices. We have implemented policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking such as

  • Payroll monitoring
  • Communication and with our supply chain and their understand of, and compliance with our expectations.

We regularly review and update these policies to ensure that they remain effective.

Due Diligence: We conduct regular due diligence assessments of our supply chain to identify potential modern slavery and human trafficking risks. We engage with our suppliers to assess their policies and procedures for preventing and mitigating these risks, and we take appropriate action where necessary to address any issues identified.

Training and Awareness: We provide training and awareness-raising programs for our employees, suppliers, and partners to raise awareness of the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking, and to ensure that everyone understands their role in preventing and mitigating these risks.

Reporting and Transparency: We are committed to being transparent about our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement, which outlines our policies, due diligence processes, and any actions we have taken to address modern slavery and human trafficking risks in our operations and supply chain.

Continuous Improvement: We recognize that our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking are an ongoing process, and we are committed to continuously improving our policies, procedures, and practices to ensure that we remain at the forefront of ethical business practices.
